Paul’s Ministry to Gentiles
Paul is confident that the church at Rome is well equipped to do the work of ministry. He hopes to visit in person on his way to Spain; as soon as he delivers the offering to the saints at Jerusalem.

Do No Harm
Paul started a discourse in Romans 14 about food laws and observing days. He brings that argument to a point in the second half of the chapter: The kingdom of God is not about eating and drinking but about righteousness, … Continue reading

Paul elaborates more on these topics in other letters but in Romans 12 he addresses the spiritual gifts and different members working together as one body. The best commentary on the Bible is the Bible so we will take a … Continue reading

A Living Sacrifice
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice…” “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” Just the first two verses as we begin Romans 12. Lots of good stuff in there.
The Mystery of Israel’s Salvation
There was not a sermon last week. We had worship but I was taking whatever cold or flu-like thing is going around. This is the end of Romans 11, from verse 25 to 36.
Grafting Gentiles
Romans 11 is not easy like Romans 10. As an apostle called to the Gentile nations, Paul laments again his own people Israel and hopes to save some.
